I’m going to say something controversial about Hades II (Supergiant Games), and I’m going to say it from the bottom of my heart. *SPOILERS* Fuck the final boss of the upward path. Of course, massive spoilers ahead. I’ll try to keep it as vague as possible, but I need to talk about the final boss… Continue Reading
I’ve been playing Hades II (Supergiant Games) on God Mode, and I’m still having mixed feelings about it. Yes, it’s allowed me to get to the top of the upper path again (twice!), but there’s still a corner of my brain that tells me it’s cheating. Intellectually, I know it’s not. Emotionally, I am still… Continue Reading
I want to talk about Hades II‘s (Supergiant Games) dirty little secret–God Mode. To put it simply, in God Mode, you start by taking 20% less damage. Every time you die with God Mode on, you get an added 2% resistance to damage. This was also in the first game, but I never turned it… Continue Reading
Well. If you remember my last post, I was talking about giving up Hades II (Supergiant Games) because I did not think I would ever beat the ‘final’ boss of the game. I put ‘final’ in quotes because beating a run once is only the beginning. In fact, in the first game, you had to… Continue Reading
I am still thinking about whether I want to continue playing Hades II (Supergiant Games) or not. I mentioned in yesterday’s post that I suddenly realized that one of the boses I thought I could not beat might not be the last boss on that path (of the two paths available). Well, I beat that… Continue Reading
I may be done with Hades II (Supergiant Games). There will be spoilers throughout the post, but nothing that wasn’t really shown in the first trailer. Well, one thing wasn’t specifically revealed (at least not that I can remember); I’ll ttry to keep that as vague as possible. *SPOILER* The big boss down below that… Continue Reading
I’m writing more about Hades II (Supergiant Games) and if I’m going to continue with it or not. Here is my post from yesterday in which I was quite frank that this was about me and not the game (mostly). I’ve been plugging away at it, but I’m just really frustrated with the big boss.… Continue Reading
I’m at the crossroads in Hades II (Supergiant Games), and I don’t mean the hub world in the game. That’s called The Crossroads, and it’s where I go between each run. Several NPCs are there, and I’m now at the point where I can spruce up the area. There was a similar mechanic in the… Continue Reading
I’m back with more on Hades II (Supergiant Games). Here is the post from yesterday. I want to start with a few of the things that bother me about the game because it’s been nagging the back of my mind. Also, I have praised the game to high heaven, so I don’t think it’ll be… Continue Reading
I’m back to talk more about Hades II (Supergiant Games). It the last post, I ended by talking about the relationships and how I wanted to bonk certain characters. My tongue is firmly in (my own) cheek, but it’s also not a joke. The characters are insanely hot in this game (and in the original),… Continue Reading
