I’ve reached the third real area of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin (Team NINJA). I am suddenly fed up with it after doing the first chunk of it, and I think I’m done. I have talked in previous posts as to my frustrations with Team NINJA games, and this has the same issues writ… Continue Reading
I’m still playing Stranger of Paradise; Final Fantasy Origin (Team NINJA. Note: That’s how the write their name. Previously, I had been calling them Team Ninja, but have realized they capitalize all of Ninja). I just went up against the second boss, who was much easier than the first and only had one health bar,… Continue Reading
Alright. It’s a bit disingenuous to keep calling this a quick look since I’m on post four, but I’m going to stubbornly sticking to that because I can. It’s also amusing because I have played an hour or so of the game (maybe two), which is not very much playing time in comparison to how… Continue Reading
We’re up to post three of my ‘quick look’ at Stranger of Paradise; Final Fantasy Origin (Team Ninja). Which, by the way, I always want to write as Strangers of Paradise because it’s about a team of people, not one person, but maybe that’s not the meaning of the name. In the last post, I… Continue Reading
This is my second post about Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin (Team Ninja), what I like and don’t like about it. I found watching the demo campy and enjoyable, so I bought it when it was half off. I have been playeng Elden Ring almost exclusively since the Shadow of the Erdtree drop, so… Continue Reading
I’ve been playing Elden Ring pretty much nonstop since it came out. I’ve played other games here and there, but I always return to Elden Ring. I watched Eurogamer (Aoife and Ian) play a few hours of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin (Team Ninja) (the video is below), and it’s bonkers. The main character… Continue Reading
I’ve been watching videos from Kinda Funny Games. They have recently changed their review score to 10 (from 5). Then, they did two videos in which they listed games for each number (from each guy). I’ve included the one for 10 below. They briefly say that 10 is not perfect, but a masterpiece. Then they… Continue Reading
I want to start this post by saying that I don’t believe in 10s. Here is yesterday’s post. I don’t think anything is perfect, and while I get in theory that there is a perfect score, well, I mentally call it “a really damn good game” or something like that. I also get that you… Continue Reading
I love Elden Ring (FromSoft). It’s my favorite game of all time, tied with Dark Souls III. I need to play DS III again; I haven’t done it since February. The RKG Discord did a Return to Lothric then, and it was fun getting back to it. I will admit, though, that I’ve been playing… Continue Reading
In yesterday’s post, I was complaining about the gentle competition shows that have gotten worse and worse. The problem is that most of them feel like they need to stick to the way the Great British Bake Off did it in the first few seasons. Oh, sure, there are different names for the sections in… Continue Reading
