We are a week and a day after my booster. I would say I’m roughly 67%. So better than yesterday, but still not great. Tired, achy, chills/sweats. Just the same as before, but less intense. I am able to sleep enough, but I did wake up twice last night. That used to be the norm back in the day, but post-hospital has mostly been one time waking up to pee.
I am exha;usted. Not pneumonia-having exhausted. I can actually do a full morning routine, sans weapons. When I had pneumonia, I could barely get out of bed. I was sleeping all the time, and I completely skipped Taiji class. I will not skip this week’s class. I may not stay for the whole thing, but I will be able to make it to the break at least.
I knew to expect a big reaction. As I’ve mentioned more than once, I had a welt at the shot site for over three weeks–from the first shot to the second. Weirdly, that’s gone. My arm still hurts when I toch the site, though. It’s sore and there’s a bit of puffiness.
Ian said maybe I should go to UC to see if I had pneumonia. That hadn’t even occurred to me. It’s not as bad as that, though. The chills/sweats are less often and less intense, but still irritating. I know this is an outlier as far as reactions to the vax. An extreme outlier. It doesn’t make it any less annoying. I have no idea why I have such an intense reaction.
I’m leaving this here today. I just don’t feel like writing.
